About this trip
Nevado del Tolima is part of Los Nevados National Natural Park and rises above 5,000 metres. This proposal requires physical preparation, acclimatisation and planning with qualified high-mountain professionals. There are different approaches and objectives: approaching the mountain and attempting the summit are different experiences. Any summit or glacier objective requires assessment and technical equipment and is never guaranteed. Before arranging a trip, we review your objective, group experience and access conditions.
How we can organise your visit
Review your objective and preparation
Decide whether you want an approach trek or a climbing objective and review requirements with a guide.
Approach and acclimatisation
Duration, stages and accommodation are set according to the itinerary and group.
Progress subject to conditions and return
Weather, the group’s condition and the guide’s assessment determine whether to continue or turn back.
Getting there
Access and transfers depend on the approved itinerary and open sectors. Approach corridors include the Salento area and the Combeima canyon, with different routes.
